Get the Perfect Automatic Hair Curls Description
At one point or another, every girl has yearned for long, effortless cascading curls to swoosh around. Having access to a great hair curler unlocks so many hair styling options – whether you want beachy waves that make you feel like a sexy mermaid, or effortless, loose curls so you can say “I woke up like this” and people will believe you when you’re definitely lying. But nothing is more annoying than spending half an hour curling your hair only to look in the mirror an hour later to see your locks looking like a cross between some half-assed dreadlocks and a bunch of rats’ tails. With a good heat protectant and a strong hairspray, these nine hair curling machines will give you long lasting curls, minimal effort required .
Remington CI9538 T|Studio Salon Collection Pearl Digital Ceramic Curling Wand, 1-1 1/2 Inch, Pink
This curler from Remington is a traditional, conical curling wand, but a really good one. The surface is infused with real pearl, creating an incredibly smooth surface which in turn creates incredibly smooth curls. For peace of mind, it will automatically shut off after an hour so you don’t need to worry half way through the day whether you remembered to turn your curling iron off, because it will have done it for you if you didn’t! You can set the temperature between 240-410 degrees F making it very versatile, and it has a lock function so you can’t accidentally turn it off while using it (we’ve all done it).
Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret Curling Iron
This really is a hair curler that anyone can use, no skill required at all. All you need to do is section off a piece of hair, clamp the curler around it and press a button, and your hair is automatically pulled into the curling iron, curled and heated. It has a tourmaline ceramic curling chamber which smooth’s the hair and reduces frizz to give you a perfect curl. By changing both the heat setting (two available) and the time you hold the curl for (it has a built in timer so you don’t even need to know how to count) you can decide how tight or loose you want your curls. Completely fool-proof hair curling.
Hot Tools -Supertool 1 1/2″ Curling Iron with Multi-Heat Control
Another fairly standard curler in design this time with a clamp, but with some clever features which make it great to use. It has a two inch barrel, the widest on this list, so is particularly suited to those with long hair looking for big curls or loose waves (1 inch and 1 ½ inch versions available also). It has some clever ‘Pulse Technology’ which ensures that the whole length of the wand is exactly the same temperature to give even curls from top to bottom. The temperature can be varied and can reach up to 430 degrees F so will curl even really stubborn hair.
John Frieda Salon Shape 1.5 Inch Hot Air Brush
The hot air brush is a cross between a hair drier, a curling wand and a hair brush, and allows you to create a professional looking blowout with just one product. If, like me, you haven’t got the coordination to use a round brush in one hand a hair dryer in the other, but want big, bouncy voluminous hair, this is the one for you. It uses ion technology to eliminate frizz, transforming your wet hair into smooth, sleek Kate Middleton-esque locks.
xtava Satin Wave 5-in-1 Curler
The xtava 5 in 1 curler has 5 different wand attachments, 3 with a clamp, with varying barrel sizes, a wide barrelled wand and a narrow conical wand. Depending on what type of curl you want, you just change the attachment, so you are able to create loose waves or tight ringlet-like curls. It does only have one heat setting (410 degrees F) but with the different attachment options it’s still a really versatile tool. A great choice if you like to create lots of different curled styles, as you only need to purchase this one, reasonably priced curler.
Kiss Products Instawave Automatic Hair Curler
Similar to the Conair Infiniti Secret Curling iron, the Kiss Instawave is another automatic curler that requires very little skill or effort. You can set the curler to curl either to left or the right, which one of the main flaws with some other automatic curlers, giving you the option to either mix it up to create a more voluminous look overall, or curl you hair all the same way for a polished finish. It also has ceramic technology, but this time DIAMOND-infused! Does diamond-infused ceramic leave your hair even smoother than pearl-infused ceramic? I couldn’t possibly say.
Conair Xtreme Instant Heat Jumbo And Super Jumbo Hair Setter with Super Clips
Heated rollers can give some of the longest lasting curls, as the hair is kept in a curled position for longer than when using a wand, as the hair cools while still curled setting it firmly in place. This set contains 12 heated rollers of two different sizes which take two minutes to heat up. Applying them to your hair can take a bit of practice but full instructions are provided, and the results are worth it once you get the hang of it. Not to mention how awesome you look with a head full of rollers…
Bed Head Deep Waver
Slightly different to the other eight products on the list, this Bed Head Waves creates wavy hair rather than curled with its clever design. You just take a section of hair and clamp it where you want the wave to begin, hold, release, and then repeat down the whole length of the hair. Whilst it only takes 30 seconds to reach full temperature, waving your whole head of hair can take a little while, but it’s worth it for the unique, boho-type waves it creates.
Conair YOU Pro Cordless ThermaCell 3/4 Inch Curling Iron
This Conair model is completely cordless and portable, so it can be used absolutely anywhere, making it perfect for travelling, festivals, camping, or touching up curls on the go. It is powered by a butane gas cartridge which will need replacing from time to time, although the cartridges are quite reasonably priced. Being cordless, it does make curling your hair slightly easier as you don’t have to worry about getting tangled up in the wire, and it only takes two minutes to reach full temperature which is 360 degrees F, slightly lower than most other curlers.
With so many curling machines on the market, hopefully this list will help you narrow down your choice to achieve your desired look. Whether you want soft beachy waves or small tight curls, one of these is sure to meet your needs.
